Snippets/ I'm leaving you [for now]

so... I looked at my calendar today an realized that things are about to go crazy here, and I don't want to just suddenly and anonymously stop blogging on you so  I am warning you now, I am going to take the rest of July off, and I will be back in august, but.... I promised a snippet from my story so before I go so...

“Rain sucks.” Was all Eleda could think as she trudged along through the mud and rain.

“Stupid, stupid rain” Eleda growled “I hate rain” she declared to the empty road,

“I wish it would quit pouring on me”  she looked around hopefully, as if the rain would suddenly just stop, nothing changed, but Eleda could have sworn that it started to rain just a bit harder, great just great she thought gloomily.

It kept raining…

July Camp Nano

So July is in like two days and I thought that I should tell you that I am doing the July camp nano.....
I'm doing the July camp nano there I said it!

My project is.... a Twelve Dancing Princesses fairy tale rewrite, now..why my story is different is, there are twelve princes instead of twelve princesses, this is set in celtic, Gaelic so Ireland etc.

And they don't dance all night, they have to sword fight and compete in celtic war games etc. which is an interesting way for them to get roped into it, like they wanted to train and there was somehow (magically) this place under the castle were they could train or something and then they had to always go because of magic etc.[just an idea]

And then M.C shows up but instead of doing the "you came to the castle go to the work in the kitchens thing" the head cook actually rejects her because there are to many people in the kitchen and the head stewardess lady,( who is pretty much like the lady who makes sure everything, is clean washed pressed sewed up again,)  is short hands, so they send her there, then she has to clean and mend all the stupid prince's dirty, torn clothes every single day because they are somehow (mysteriously) ruining them all the time every night! and that's how she figures it out.

And then the rest of the story is pretty much the same as the original, she saves them etc. and then she marries Ronan !

Jack and Jill Nursery Rhyme

So I forgot that it was Tuesday and so instead of a wonderful and glorious post I'm giving you a nursery rhyme, your welcome.
so originally I had though that Jack and Jill was a one stanza poem... nope its not turns out there are three stanzas and the last one makes it sound like Jill pushed Jack down the hill, which is kind of scary.













so yeah. happy Tuesday.

MY BUCKET LIST / GOALS

Yay Plans, Plans,Plans and more Plans.

  1.Finish all of the levels in ice skating, and do some theater on ice. *excited screaming*
 
  2. Go to an amusement park *sounds amusing* (Disney land, kings island etc.)

  3. Go on a roller coaster,( never been, sounds fun)

  4. Go to a concert, (also sounds fun)

  5.  Go hiking in a cool woodland area, the Appalachian trails maybe?

  6. Go to the museum in D.C  and walk through it all, and see everything.

  7. Publish a Novel, (didn't see that one coming did you? )

  8. Fill an entire room with books (no shelves just books stacked upon each other in lines up to the ceiling, it will probably be a small room )

  9. Learn to paint with watercolor.

  10. become fluent in french ( and then German, Russian, Arabic, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Irish,      Polish, Filipino, Finnish etc.)

  11. Learn to write with my left hand (legibly.)

  12. Make a hundred dollars before the end of the year *mocking laughter* yeah right Elle*

  13.  Read 300 hundred books in a year, ( and yes indeed I do want to kill my self thanks for asking)

  14.  Go to yellow stone.

  15. Do the splits/ just be flexible.

  16. Be able to do 50 push ups * quit sniggering sis, I can do one okay? that's got to count for something right?.. guys? hello?...why are you all crying ? or are you laughing? *suspicious look*)

I'm doing a tag, that I hadn't originally planed to do but life decided I didn't need time and so it took it all away, so here I am now, doing an unplanned tag. (hope this isn't terrible)

ENTJs and why they are awesome.

So, in case you didn't know I am an ENTJ. yay!

and today I am going to torture you with boring stuff  tell you a bit about them.





ENTJ'S are natural born leaders, often have a ruthless level of rationality, using their drive and sharp minds to achieve whatever means they want. *nods head wisely*

They make up only 3% of the population. *I feel so special*

ENTJ'S are:
Efficient, Energetic, Self-Confident, Strong Willed, Strategic Thinkers, and Charismatic and Inspiring (you guys feel inspired yet?)
 but... on the downside they are also (usually) Stubborn and Dominant, Intolerant, Impatient, Arrogant, Poor handling of Emotions,  and Cold and Ruthless. so yeah, not all sunshine here.
but hey we're still the best right?

Percy was about to strangle this old man. Then he stopped

 “Wait how do you get her out?” Percy asked

“oh I break the wall” the old man said easily

Percy glanced at him suspiciously  “but you said it was impenetrable, so how are you going to break it?  

The old man growled "that doesn’t matter"

but Percy wasn’t about to give up that easily,

“Open the wall”

The old man shook his head “I wont”

Percy shrugged and hefted his sword, "then you leave me no choice" 

and just so you know Percy is not just gonna stab this random old man, he kind of has Sage (Percy's friend)  in a giant sphere like thingy that is slowly killing her, so wen she dies he can harvest her life and make himself live longer, so yeah. Percy kinda wants to stab him.

I'm trying to do all of 9th grade over the summer because I hate myself. (and because I want to finesh high school a year early)

Name of Book: the Cursed Library
Stage: Draft 1
characters: My main characters are Sage and Percy. Percy is forever nicknamed perky, because spell checker for some reason didn't like his name and always wanted to change it to perky instead of Percy.

Percy: Percy is an ENFJ, a Gryffondor, has black hair, ice blue eyes, because that's cool, and he is part if a secret organization called the Rooks. oh and he is a disowned elf, but shhh! Sage doesn't know that.

Sage: blond hair, green eyes, she is and ISTJ, a Slytherin, she has no allergies, she is a sorceress, and a thief.

Plot, I ant gonna tell you wha ha ha ha. you'll just have to wait and see.

 “Stupid idea” Percy  muttered to himself “why do we need a book anyway”

“Because we don’t want the world to explode” sage said testily.

“It wouldn’t explode if we didn’t have the book” Percy protested

“Yes, it might, or at least we will probably be put in jail because the council wants it and we didn’t get it, so that means we have to get it or else...”

Percy sighed and drudged after her. It was going to be a long week

Not If I Save You First by Ally Carter, book reveiw

This is my first book review, yay!
I'll save you from my babbling and just skip to the review.

Not If I Save You First by Ally Carter.

I liked the book, because it avoided a few of the problems you would find in these types of books, because she isn't a spy you don't have to ask yourself why a teenage girl is a spy, she is the daughter of a secret service agent, who retired and moved to Alaska, sound cold? I bet it is.
and it has a nice bit of drama and tension between the characters, not so much that you want to throw the book across the room just a bit, it keeps you interested. 


The Plot:
it was pretty average, I could guess what was generally going to happen most of the time.


The Characters:
I liked Maggie but Logan was REALLY ANNOYING!!! it was one of those, I am pretty much useless and while Maggie is trying to get something done I'll just sit here and do stupid thihgs, why Logan why?!?!?

 But there is a good thing about this book your little siblings can read it. I've heard a lot of people talking about how they read a book, tell their little sibling about it (before they are finished) little sibling is excited to read it, then you find a part they should not be reading, OOPS!. then your sibling is annoyed at you for not letting them read the book, oh great.
but Not if I Save You First is totally fine, though you should still read it first, because you might have different standards and rules for your siblings.


Summary: I'd give it about a 3 and a half star rating maybe a 4 star  but that said you should go read it right now, because you will probably love it.
